Prior to last night there were only two people who could claim to have scored 800 goals in the NHL, Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe. This morning, there are three. Alex Ovechkin became the third member of the most exclusive club in professional hockey, and he did it in style. The Great Eight scored not one, not two, but three goals to hit the 800 goal mark in the Washington Capitals 7-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
