BRANDON – The Lightning is back in town and practiced for about 45 minutes today at the Ice Sports Forum. Some quick notes:
Coach Jon Cooper said the team was angry after its Game 5 loss Saturday in Montreal, especially compared to last week’s home defeat in game 4.
“It was a genuine, (ticked) off attitude when we lost Game 5,” Cooper said. “I could just tell nothing needed to be said. Guys were angry, and it’s carried over.”
Cooper said the Lightning hasn’t had enough shots on goal, or enough quality shots, through the first five games.
