Lightning re-sign forward Paradis to 1-year deal

The Tampa Bay Lightning re-signed forwarded Philippe Paradis to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced today.

Paradis, 24, recorded a career-high eight goals in 34 games last season with the Syracuse Crunch despite missing the last three months of the season.

He has 21 goals and 58 points over six AHL seasons, and appeared in 18 Calder Cup playoff games with the Crunch in 2013.

Paradis was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks for Kirill Gotovets in 2013.
