Lightning make it two wins in a row as they down the Penguins 3-1

The Tampa Bay Lightning swept their brief two-game homestand as they won their second game in a row by downing the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 on Wednesday night. Anthony Cirelli and Nikita Kucherov scored on the power play while Tanner Jeannot scored his sixth of the season. Andrei Vasilevskiy was just 53 seconds shy of his second straight shutout, but a Kris Letang goal spoiled the effort. Vasy ended the night with 24 saves.

With his goal, Cirelli reached the 200 point plateau for his career while Kucherov ran his point streak to 11 games. He has an assist in all 11 of those games, which is a team record.
