Lightning drop last game of the road trip, 7-3

The Lightning scored early, but the Bruins scored often as six different Boston skaters found the back of the net in their 7-3 win. Nikita Kucherov’s three-point effort wasn’t nearly enough as the Lightning go 1-2 on their short road trip. Linus Ullmark picked up the win with 23 saves while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 20 of 26.

  • The Lightning went with an 11/7 rotation and started two rookies (Jack Thompson and Emil Lilleberg) on defense.
  • Thompson played 11:39 and was credited with one shot while Lilleberg played 11:48 and blocked a shot.
  • Tampa Bay was down to 10 forwards when Tanner Jeannot left the game early after taking a hit behind the Boston net.
