TAMPA — The call from the Hockey Hall of Fame comes today.
But will Dave Andreychuk be on the receiving end?
The Hall of Fame committee will reveal the four newest members of the Hockey Hall of Fame in the player category today.
First-time eligible members Niklas Lidstrom and Chris Pronger are expected to be locks to receive their inclusion for the Class of 2015 while Sergei Fedorov is also expected to be a strong candidate.
Where does that leave Andreychuk, who retired following the 2005-06 season?
Nine years after leaving the game, Andreychuk still remains the all-time leading power-play goal scorer with 274 and finished his career with 640 goals, 14th on the all-time list.
