Buzzer beater gives Bolts 3-0 series lead over Montreal

Tampa Bay Lightning

TAMPA — Talk about down to the wire.

Tyler Johnson scored with 1.1 seconds left on the clock to lift Tampa Bay to a 2-1 victory and grab a 3-0 series lead against Montreal.

Alex Killorn scored for Tampa Bay while Ben Bishop finished with 29 saves.

Brendan Gallagher found the equalizer in the third for Montreal while Carey Price stopped 17.

Looking for a fast start, the Lightning found it with J.T. Brown and Valtteri Filppula getting two in-close chances in the opening five minutes, then Ryan Callahan skated in alone off a pass from Killorn, but Callahan’s shot sailed high and wide at 5:04.
