Bolts road scoring slump continues in 2-0 loss to St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — The Lightning offense appears to be a little home sick.

For the second consecutive game Tampa Bay failed to score a goal as the Lightning finished off a four-game road trip with a 1-0 loss at St. Louis.

Dating back to Friday’s overtime win at Winnipeg, Tampa Bay has been held without a goal for 120 minutes, 17 seconds of play.

Scott Gomez scored the only goal of the game while Jake Allen stopped all 26 shots he faced for the shutout, the sixth of his career.

Ben Bishop finished with 22 saves for the Lightning.
