Bolts offense MIA again in loss to Detroit

DETROIT - The Lightning offense looks like a scene out of Groundhog Day these days.

Because after a one-game outburst, it must have seen its shadow and burrowed back into a hole.

Tampa Bay once again failed to generate enough offense, falling 2-1 to Detroit on Tuesday at Joe Louis Arena.

Rookie Dylan Larkin scored on fluttering shot from the goal line that slipped under the right arm of goaltender of Ben Bishop at 5:54 of the third period to hand Tampa Bay a fifth loss in the past six games, including overtime. Since starting the season 3-0 the Lightning are 3-6-2.
