MONTREAL — Entering the postseason, one of the mantras of any team is to throw out what happened in the regular season.
The playoffs are a different game.
That’s been the case for the Lightning, which entered the postseason with the worst road record of any of the 16 teams in the playoffs at 18-16-7 and the best home record at 32-8-1.
But through the first three weeks of the postseason Tampa Bay has won three of four road games heading into Sunday’s Game 2 against Montreal.
So what’s the difference.
