DETROIT — The Lightning were the most dominant home team in the league during the regular season, winning 32 games at Amalie Arena.
On the road, they were average with an 18-16-7 record.
After splitting the first two games in Tampa, the Lightning now must find a way to win at Joe Louis Arena to win the series.
“It doesn’t change anything in our mindset. You go into every game trying to win it,’’ RW Ryan Callahan said. “Obviously we do have to win one on the road to win the series, and that starts with Game 3.
