NEW YORK — It could have passed for a changing of the guard in Lightning history, from one mighty mite to another.

From Marty to Johnny.

Marty St. Louis has been gone from Tampa Bay for more than a year. He hasn’t looked back.

The Lightning evened the Eastern Conference finals on Monday night at Madison Square Garden. They won 6-2 over a Rangers team that had played nothing but one-goal playoff games.
