Bolts blow 3-goal lead as Capitals rally for 5-3 win

WASHINGTON - The Lightning on Friday night allowed the Capitals power play force to awaken.

Tampa Bay blew a three-goal lead as Washington score three times with the man advantage to rally for a 5-3 victory at Verizon Center.

Tampa Bay fell to 1-4-4 in the past nine games in Washington and has not picked up a regulation victory at Verizon Center since since March 12, 2010.

Steven Stamkos ended a 10-game scoring drought with his 12th goal of the season, and first since Nov. 21.

Defenseman Andrej Sustr chipped in with his second career regular season goal and first since April 5, 2014, ending a 106-game streak without a goal.
