2015 NHL Playoffs: Will shooting luck for Tampa Bay's big guns finally turn?

If there is one thing that was expected out of the Tampa Bay Lightning in their first round series with the Detroit Red Wings, it was goals, goals goals. Detroit has done nice a job defending but will Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov finally break through?

They scored 262 goals in the regular season (1st in the NHL). They shot 9.03% at 5v5 (1st in the NHL). Jon Cooper, like any good coach, wants his teams to outscore the opposition. That's the goal of hockey, after all. But the way Tampa Bay does it runs counter to the typically stale, safe, defensive gameplans a lot of NHL coaches use today.
