Tampa Bay Lightning veterans of all varieties are still participating in the 2015 NHL playoffs.
The Tampa Bay Lightning has a history of memorable playoff runs. This season’s team roster, however, is a completely new group of members (excluding Steven Stamkos and Victor Hedman) leading the Bolts on the verge of making the Eastern Conference Finals for the third time in franchise history.
The 2003-04 Lightning conquered the Stanley Cup, while the 2010-11 team made it to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Although these memories are growing more and more distant, a considerable number of alumni from each team are still playing elsewhere.
