One of the better surprises from Tuesday's first episode of "Hard Knocks" was Bucs rookie Jeremy McNichols getting a FaceTime call from "Coach Snoop" on his phone, with Snoop Dogg himself offering him support for his first training camp.
"He who knows the most, plays the most," Snoop said on the show to McNichols, a fifth-round pick out of Boise State. "You want to learn as much as you can. Keep ballin', Jeremy. You know I love you. Keep doing your (thing). ... Go and get that spot."
McNichols, talking after practice Wednesday morning, said he played in Snoop Dogg's youth football program his senior year of high school outside Long Beach, Calif.
