After may speculative reports and many still holding out hope he returns, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially announces his retirement from the NFL.
Brady released a statement in a series of tweets. Below are a couple highlighting his words.
The future Hall of Famer would also thank the Buccaneers fans and the Tampa Bay area as well as some others including, most importantly, his family.
Brady came to the Buccaneers from the Patriots last season and helped lead them to a Super Bowl Championship over the Kansas City Chiefs.
