The Tampa Bay Buccaneers failed to make the playoffs, months after they looked like locks to make the playoffs. Even though they defeated the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, the Buccaneers still lost the NFC South title to them due to the Atlanta Falcons defeating the New Orleans Saints. So, the Buccaneers are now left picking up the pieces trying to figure out what went wrong and how they could fix things.
Vocal Buccaneers fans have let it be known they are not thrilled with head coach Todd Bowles. As the losses piled up, the louder fans got. Even with the displeasure, the expectation was that Bowles would be retained for another season.
