I don’t know how it could’ve ended worse for the Buccaneers. Not only did they blow a fourth quarter lead to the Bears, but they likely lost a key piece to the defense in Vita Vea for a good amount of time and they also lost on a Cairo Santos game-winner. The irony there is that the Bucs cut him before the 2019 season began in favor of Matt Gay, who is no longer on the roster.
Regardless, you have to give credit to the Bears.
