After the Cleveland Browns shocked the football world Tuesday night by acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants, wide receiver Breshad Perriman was ready to back out of a verbal agreement that he had just agreed to earlier that day. Reports then surfaced that Browns’ general manager John Dorsey and Perriman’s agent Drew Rosenhaus had decided to void the verbal agreement made earlier that day, and the newly free receiver would sign a one-year, $4 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers instead.
A day after losing their own deep threat in DeSean Jackson, the Bucs were able to bring in another for 6 million dollars less.
