For a game that was expected to be an offensive affair, last night’s game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins was all about the defense. The poor weather conditions and the soggy field may have been part of the reason why the game played so slow but both teams also appeared to be working out all of the offseason kinks.
The Dolphins are still in the middle of evaluating former Buc Ryan Fitzpatrick and former Arizona Cardinal Josh Rosen for the starting quarterback position. As of last night it seems likely that Josh Rosen has the higher upside and was able to complete 10/18 passes for 102 yards.
