Tampa Bay Buccaneers expected to sign Blaine Gabbert

Reports are coming out that after being released by the Tennessee Titans just last week, Blaine Gabbert is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gabbert was most recently backup for quarterback Marcus Mariota and even started three games in relief of the often injured Mariota going 2-1 while throwing for 626 yards, four touchdowns, four interceptions and completing 60% of his passes.

Gabbert was originally the 10th overall pick in the 2011 draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars coming out of the University of Missouri. Gabbert had two very successful and productive seasons in Missouri starting as a true sophomore and a junior before electing for the NFL draft.
