Tampa Bay Buccaneers expect to lose Kwon Alexander, Adam Humphries

The legal tampering period in the NFL is scheduled to start at noon today EST, and just in time, reports are being released that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for life after linebacker Kwon Alexander and wide receiver Adam Humphries.

ESPN’s Jenna Laine has reported that Alexander is asking for between $11-12 million per year on his next deal, a number that the Buccaneers cannot afford to match. It was also reported last week that Tampa Bay has offered him a long-term deal, but it does not eclipse the double-digit amount annually.

Coming off of a torn ACL, it would be a risky proposition to give Alexander elite linebacker money.
