The shared somewhat good news from their practice session on Thursday after many questions still remained about the players on the initial injury report from Wednesday. And some of that good news is centered around quarterback Baker Mayfield.
After Mayfield took a shot from Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu at the end of Sunday’s game, the veteran quarterback did not participate in yesterday’s practice. On Thursday, however, his status was upgraded to limited participation and as it sounds wasn’t limited in his throwing.
“He had a third down period – took all of the reps in a nice third down period and he threw some accurate balls.
