Super Bowl LV between the Buccaneers and Chiefs draws low viewership

Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs drew an audience 96.4 million viewers. Seems high, but it’s low for NFL’s numbers for the big game.

That viewership is the lowest since 2007’s Super Bowl XLI between the Colts and the Bears which drew a viewership of 93.2 million viewers.

Via NFL.com, the upside to the low television numbers was an increase in livestreaming. However, the Tampa Bay market was third among markets who watched, behind Kansas City and Boston.
