Shilo Sanders now has a clear path back to the Buccaneers roster

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut their rosters down to 53 players on Tuesday, and in the process waived some pretty big names. Trey Palmer was one of them, and Tampa Bay watched their now-former wide receiver get claimed by the New Orleans Saints.

But, the Buccaneers didn't lose everybody to another team. Rookie safety Shilo Sanders, who was one of Tampa Bay's main roster cuts, didn't get claimed by another team. Now, the Buccaneers have the chance to bring Sanders back as a member of their practice squad.

Sanders was one of the most notable undrafted rookies available, given that he played for Colorado for his dad and head coach Deion Sanders, with his brother Shedeur playing quarterback.
