TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski says the "arrow is pointing up" toward playing Monday night after he has missed five games this season due to cracked ribs, a punctured lung and back spasms.
Gronkowski practiced in full Thursday and Friday this week for the first time since suffering his injuries, saying they were "crucial steps" in his recovery.
"It's going well now out here. Just did two practices in a row. The arrow is pointing up to play this week, and hopefully it's a go," said Gronkowski, speaking to the media Friday for the first time in two months.
