Players say “no” to 11-on-11 activities in practice

Per Pro Football Talk, the NFL Players Association has requested that there be no 11-on-11 activities in practice during the season.

There are other requests, as well. The NFLPA would like to limit practices and group activities throughout game week in hopes of providing more accurate testing and limiting the spread of COVID-19.

If the players want a season in 2020, then they will eventually have to make contact with each other. Until then, they obviously feel that it’s in their best interest to remain apart.

The NFL has yet to say whether or not the request will be granted, but if it is, it will certainly be interesting to see how everything plays out.
