PFF ranks Buccaneers offensive line in bottom half of NFL

Pro Football Focus’ Mike Renner ranked every single offensive in the NFL heading into the 2018 campaign.

His rankings weren’t kind to the Buccaneers which slotted in at the number 22 spot. Tampa dropped five spots from their PFF ranking at the end of 2017.

As other teams invested more and more in the trenches, the Buccaneers only added one piece to an offensive line which has struggled protecting Jameis Winston.

Having the 22nd best line in the league may seem harsh, but it makes sense. Considering the past few seasons and the major question marks at two spots along the o-line, there isn’t a reason to be too optimistic about this group.
