Pamphile still part of Bucs' plans for offensive line

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a couple of moves with regard to their offensive line last year that, in retrospect, they probably wish they had back.

One was the decision to sign since-departed free-agent left tackle Anthony Collins to a five-year, $30 million contract. The other was their decision not to play rookie tackle Kevin Pamphile more down the stretch of last year’s lost season.

Pamphile, a Purdue product whom the Bucs traded back into the fifth round to select 149th overall last year, made his only starts in the final two games last season, both at right tackle, and saw mostly limited action in just five other games.
