With Hurricane Irma upgraded to a Category 5 storm with winds of 175 miles per hour, the NFL has scheduled a conference call for this morning to discuss its options for the Bucs-Dolphins game currently scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Miami.
With the storm gaining strength and staying on a path to directly impact south Florida at that time, the league is likely choosing between three options: keeping the game in Miami and moving kickoff up significantly earlier, such as Thursday night; moving the game to a neutral site farther away from the storm's path; or rescheduling the game for Week 11 in November, when both the Bucs and Dolphins currently have their bye weeks.
