The NFL’s legal tampering period for free agency began Monday, and there hasn’t been much reported action from the Buccaneers. Even with the new league year officially set to begin Wednesday, there isn’t much buzz about Tampa Bay doing anything significant.
And you know what? That’s just fine. In fact, it’s actually the right course of action for the Bucs right now.
In the last two days, other teams in the league have been overspending like crazy. Kwon Alexander, Trent Brown and Tyrann Mathieu are just a few of the guys that have gotten massive contracts in the last 48 hours.
