Forward J.T. Brown, whose relentless defensive skills make him a pest to Lightning opponents, will miss the remainder of the Detroit series with an upper-body injury.
Brown was hurt in the early stages of Friday night’s game and played only five shifts.
“If you’re going to pull that unsung hero tag, he’s definitely at the top of that list,’’ Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper said. “You’re not going to find too many bigger gamers than J.T. Brown. That’s a tough loss for us.’’
