Injuries to key players have become an unfortunate theme for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this year, but it started well before the regular season. Jalen McMillan suffered a terrifying neck injury in the Bucs' second preseason game and hasn't played a single snap or come close to practicing since.
That's slowly starting to change.
McMillan was spotted at Bucs' practice this week without a neck brace. He didn't participate and was again merely a spectator, but it's starting to feel like he's getting closer to returning to the team. Greg Auman noted that there's a December return date circled, which is yet another piece of fantastic news on a number of different levels.
