TAMPA, Fla. -- Jeremy McNichols' career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers began unceremoniously in May when he was relegated to the sideline during rookie camp, still recovering from shoulder surgery. There were no OTAs or mandatory minicamp practices, either.
Now that the 2017 fifth-round draft pick is healthy, he has managed to work his way up from mere positional work to team periods and reps with the second unit.
He's also a full participant in the Bucs' annual tradition of having the rookies carry veterans' pads.
