The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made retaining some of their key stars part of their priority. In fact, their main moves in free agency were to re-sign wide receiver Chris Godwin, pass rusher Hasson Reddick, and linebacker Lavonte David. Other than that, the Buccaneers mostly built the rest of their roster through the NFL Draft.
The Buccaneers have a solid track record of building up their offensive line, as evidenced by their selection of Tristan Wirfs. But on Tuesday, the Buccaneers made sure one of their key, young offensive linemen didn't hit free agency, just days before their 2025 season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
