The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are really happy with Jameis Winston’s improvement this preseason, and one reason is the numbers they’re seeing. Head coach Dirk Koetter said that Winston’s accuracy in practice went up by a whopping 10% compared to last year
“Well, the percentages would say that. The numbers we keep in practice are up about that same percent – about 10 percent higher than he was in training camp last year. There’s a big enough body of throws in there that if you were a stat guy, you could probably say that.”
Those numbers fit with what we’ve seen in the preseason games, too.
