TAMPA — The Bucs defense will be missing more than Jason Pierre-Paul when training camp begins with the first workout Friday.
The team announced that safety Justin Evans, linebacker Jack Cichy, outside linebacker David Kenney and receiver Xavier Obosi have been placed on the active Physically Unable to Perform list. In addition, rookie quarterback Nick Fitzgerald was placed on the active Non-Football Injury list.
Evans, a two-year starter, missed the final six games of 2018 with a turf toe injury that prevented him from participating in Organized Team Activities. Evans also suffered a heel injury on the other foot and finished the off-season in a walking boot.
