Veteran cornerback Brent Grimes has missed considerable time at training camp due to an injury that also sidelined him for last Thursday’s preseason game against the Miami Dolphins.
On Monday he returned to the practice fields at One Buc Place Where Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter was happy to have him back.
“Well, we want Brent Grimes out there,’ said Koetter. “He’s our best cover guy, so it’s great to have Brent out there.”
The 12-year cornerback missed some time last year and never missed a beat during the season.
