The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost one of the best offensive players in franchise history on Sunday afternoon, as it was confirmed that former first-round pick and Pro Bowl running back Doug Martin has passed away at age 36. The cause of death remains unknown to this point.
In remembrance of Martin, Buccaneers great Gerald McCoy posted a very somber reminder of how fragile life can be sometimes. McCoy noted that Martin's passing has now made him the fifth former Buccaneers teammate that he has lost far too soon.
Martin became the fourth member of the 2013 Buccaneers to pass away before the age of 40.
