Gerald McCoy may have torn his biceps yesterday, which would mean end-of-season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ star defensive tackle. For now, that’s just speculative: Dirk Koetter said that he had an MRI today, but that the outcome is still unclear.
“He did have an MRI and Gerald – we had a meeting at 1:20 p.m. – he was not back from that yet. I don’t have the report on that. It was a bicep injury. He was getting an MRI on it and we will know more later today.”
That ‘later’ hasn’t yet arrived, but most indications are that McCoy’s season is indeed over.
