The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have ruled out just one player for Monday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers: fourth wide receiver Cecil Shorts III. No other players have been officially listed as out.
However, many of the players listed as doubtful are highly unlikely to play, considering almost none of them practiced this week. That includes defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, defensive end Robert Ayers, running backs Doug Martin and Charles Sims and defensive tackle Clinton McDonald.
The Bucs’ defensive line problems might be alleviated a little by a possible Noah Spence return, as the defensive end is listed as questionable and practiced on a limited basis today.
