Free agents the Buccaneers can sign for the veteran minimum

Cap space is a problematic resource to navigate in the NFL, and it is especially limited for the Buccaneers right now. The Bucs are cutting it close with their remaining space, but they have room to make at least one more signing and still keep enough money in reserve as a rainy day fund, assuming they can find an extremely cheap player.

The current veteran minimum salary in the NFL varies based on years of experience. Still, even the most experienced players barely get over a million dollars if they sign on a deal like this.

Tampa Bay has the necessary money to make a deal like this, but they will have to entice a veteran player to pass up money in favor of recognition and the chance to compete on a team in the national spotlight.
