While there's plenty of drama with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers right now, another team in the NFC South caught an even worse break this week.
Earlier in the week it was reported that quarterback Michael Penix Jr. might miss time with a knee injury. That very quickly snowballed into Penix hitting injured reserve with a torn ACL that will require surgery to repair.
It's objectively a nightmare, both from the human perspective that this is yet another ACL injury that Penix has suffered and the fact that the Bucs will now face Kirk Cousins when the two teams meet in December.
