LANDOVER, Md. — The Buccaneers should have defensive tackle Akeem Spence back in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Redskins.
Offseason back surgery forced Spence to start the season on the physically unable to perform list, but Spence was activated from that list today.
The Bucs waived offensive lineman Jeremiah Warren to make room for Spence, a third-year pro out of Illinois who is expected to replace the injured Tony McDaniel in the lineup.
McDaniel suffered a groin strain in practice on Wednesday and is expected to be inactive today.
