A few days ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Twitter account had an excellent response to the Atlanta Falcons Twitter account taunting them. We in the business call this kind of thing a Good Tweet, for the record.
The 28-3 references the last Super Bowl score. You know, the one where the Falcons were up 28-3 before somehow ending up losing 34-28. Good fun.
Or at least, I thought it was good fun. Dirk Koetter doesn’t, though. He apologized to the Falcons today, calling the tweet ‘unprofessional’ and noting that the Bucs maybe should get to a Super Bowl before mocking Super Bowl losers, per the Tampa Bay Times.
