TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston snapped the ball and made a hurried throw Sunday that bounced off the hands of Vincent Jackson, with Daryl Smith diving for it to make the catch. It was the first interception off Winston for any of the Bucs linebackers this training camp, and Smith hopes it sets the tone for more.
"[Defensive coordinator] Mike Smith came in talking about the ‘standard of the defense,’ and what’s that standard going to be for us?" Smith said after practice. "We’ve got to set that and come out here every day and bring it.
