According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will interview Kris Richard, the defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.
Tampa Bay will add yet another emerging coach to their list of interviews. Richard already has three meetings lined up. He will meet with the Bucs, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins after the Cowboys Wild Card game against the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday.
Along with his duties with the Dallas secondary, he was the team’s defensive play-caller. The Cowboys had a top-ten defense in nearly every statistical category this season.
