The Washington Commanders are off to a 1-1 start, and they recently lost veteran running back Austin Ekeler to an Achilles injury. With Ekeler sidelined for the year, the Commanders needed some running back help, so they called a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back. Washington signed Chase Edmonds to their practice squad, rebuilding their depth.
The veteran running back has been in the league since 2018, and he most recently played with the Buccaneers. Now, he’ll help the Commanders try to put together another great season.
