TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers spent all of training camp answering questions about depth at wide receiver behind Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. It wasn't until the first week of the regular season that they finally had an answer -- Cecil Shorts III, who was among the Houston Texans' final roster cuts last Saturday.
"Everybody’s been complaining about the back end of our receiver group, and that was a definite upgrade there," said Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter, who served as the offensive coordinator in Jacksonville during Shorts' rookie season.
